Upon reaching black belt, I hope to continue my training in Tae Kwon Do at the dojang for the rest of my time in high school. Once I have graduated high school and move on to college, I will try to find another community that shares my passion for this martial art. Many colleges that I have researched and hope to attend have a Tae Kwon Do or Martial Arts association which would act well as the type of community that I am looking for. While I cannot be sure what the future will hold, I know that I am committed to continue my training for as long as it is possible.

I want to be a black belt that acts as a positive leader both inside and outside of the do jang. I will help to train and mentor younger and less experienced martial artists, and I will use my abilities to protect my own safety and the safety of those around me. I will attack only for self defense, and I will try my best to peacefully intervene if I see an innocent person being harmed. While I have spent many years training for situations where I will need to defend myself, I will only use these skills if I do not see any other peaceful way out of the situation. I want to be a black belt that respects others; someone who does not judge other people or talk poorly of them. As a black belt, I want to continue to challenge myself to be the best person that I can be, and I hope to put others before myself.
