My Living Heroes by Michael L.

My  Living Heroes.

  1. 3820638129?profile=original My first living hero is KSN Ulityonok. He is my hero because he was and is a very respectful man. Another reason why he is my hero because he trained me harder than I imagine and many life skills.
  2. One hero I’m also ever grateful for is Forest because I followed his leadership and gained access to many other skills. My second reason I chose Forest is he was a true friend not like a friend who just leaves you hanging.
  3. Another hero who is my family is my brother George. The reas

My Weekly Push for 2nd Dan- Eric Sams

This week was a goocollectors_splits.jpg?width=493d one for me.  I feel that I am making progress toward being a teacher of martial arts and a leader. I still have a ways to go, but I am confident that I am on the path.

My fitness is still not where I would like. It is not horrible, but its in need of improvement, as well as my flexibility. I still long to do the splits, but not sure I will get there.  But I will keep working at it. Upper body strength needs work. More pushups!! I foresee lots of pushups in class in the futur

Overcoming setbacks

persistence_of_a_dream.jpgIn life there are always things that will challenge you to reach your goals. They come in may ways. I will let you know a few of mine.

As a few of you know Eric (CKN Sams) and I started TKD with Master Wells 6 1/2 yrs ago. Our goal together was to achieve our black belts. Well, 3 yrs ago I hurt myself during a belt test. I was going for my Brown belt. I did pass my test but it left me injured. I had to have surgery on my knee in the following 3 months. Needless to say, it was hard for me to watch

My weekly push for 2nd Dan.

It was a tough week this week, I was getting into a grove then I got sick and my car broke down. Bummer.

Other than that I am looking forward to more training and more learning. I will get through this challenge, and continue my journey. It really is about the journey, not the destination. I can hardly wait.
