HEY, it's the PARADE!

Meet us at the school for face painting, (optional of course, but how fun really?) at 9am, Saturday the 14th of July.

Little ones, we are going to be dressing you up in "Anti Bully Super Kid" outfits!

Everyone else, wear your tshirt, or uniform.

This is a class for 1st and 2nd Dan black belts who are working toward becoming a Kyo Sa Nim (certified Instructor),  AND for adults/teens interested on getting a jump on their leadership training.   It will be Mondays from 6:15-7:45pm.   (junior Black Belts are also invited to participate on Mondays, any other kids interested in this kind of training can enroll for a Friday leadership class like this one)

Keiko Fukuda, 9th dan, is the highest ranking woman in judo histoy. Sheis also the last living disciple of judo's founder, Jigoro Kano. This is a 10 minute sample of the upcoming documentary film, currently in post production, "Be Strong, Be Gentle, Be Beautiful."

This is an amazing project, about a phenomenal martial artist. the folks at flyingcarp.com are producing this documentary. it would be wonderful to see the finished project.

Verbal Judo

Verbal Judo is a comprehensive program on how to stop bullying verbally and through body language all taught in the Mercer Island Martial Arts Milieu. We will be starting this program in the fall of 2010 with current and new students. Please let us know if you are interested

Petty, unforgiving, negative--- they come off the bus a ball of hostility. too often. not occasionally. I am going to teach them about how to make peace. I swear.
