Come March with us in the Parade

Please come and join us while we march in the Summer Celebration Parade, and we are announced as this years Hometown Heroes for our work in the community on Violence Prevention, Bully Prevention, and youth drug and alcohol abuse prevention.  We are hoping as many student who can will march with us, along with family members.  We are so proud of this honor.

 

We will meet at the sculpture park (behind the dojang) at 9:30am.

With the recent suicide of Phoebe Prince, a 15 year old in Mass. a new awareness of "cyber bullying" and its effects has been examined. Not only are we all concerned about the targets of this kind of bullying, but also how easily virtual bystanders can become part of the problem. Ok, I think I am about to blather, but here goes: The kids are being mean. meaner than they used to. meaner at school, on the bus, even in the dojang. mean mean mean.
